On May 24, Lin Shilin, chief of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government delegation to Sichuan, responded to the media’s response to the demolition of Mianyang Bauhinia Minority Middle School. He emphasized that Hong Kong will recover HK $ 2 million from the aid school and call it back to the Sichuan Reconstruction Fund set up by the SAR government. Sichuan has respected the decision of Hong Kong. Some people say that money donated is like a spilled water, which is a bit biased but reflects the donors “no matter after donation ” from one aspect. In reality, donors have a very low probability of nearly voluntarily withdrawing their donations because of their dissatisfaction with the use of donated money, and many people may not have had the idea of recovering donations at all.
