《大众电影》是一本深受广大读者欢迎的图文并茂的通俗性刊物。尤为人们称道的是,刊物实事求是的文风在新的一年里得到进一步的发扬。如新增添的《本月银幕》一栏,在向广大读者介绍有关即将上映的中外新片时,刚语中肯、措词准确,该肯定的肯定,不足就是不足,努力开创实事求是的新文风。现举几例说明: 如今年第一期的《本月银幕》,对广西厂新片《港湾不平静》是这样介绍的:“该片敢于揭露现实中商品检验战线上的不正之风,但情节交待上用笔过多,影响了人物性格和主题的深化”。同期对珠影厂新片《预备警官》的介绍是:“题材比较新,描写的是充满
