喀左县中三家乡中三家村村民陈广志,1985年承包了本村4300株初果期苹果树。这个果园位于我省大苹果栽培区域北缘,气候条件差,全国土质为红粘土,并有50％的低产品种,1985年产果1.25万公斤,平均株产仅3公斤。陈广志承包果园后,立即开始对果园进行低产改造。在省、市、县有关业务部门的支持下,经3年的奋斗,取得了显著的增产效果,1986年产果2.75万公斤,1987年产果6.25万公斤,并被评为省级标准化果园。
