护底布置在紧靠岸坡堤脚的滩面,是护岸的延续,可减轻冲刷深度,且能填补冲坑,以免堤脚基础沉降危及堤防安全。在设计中,根据河道设防标准不同,护底宽度常按经验数字确定,为冲刷深度的1.5~2倍或河底宽度的1/10~1/5,常取10~20 m,没有进行量化,容易造成防护体设置的不当,防护体不足则影响工程安全,过量则造成投资加大。根据《堤防工程设计规范》(GB50286-98)及《堤防工程手册》归纳总结堤脚护底的宽度计算方法,并用伊士巴许公式对石笼体重量、抗滑及抗悬浮所需厚度进行复核,结合工程实例,对结论进行评价。
