在全球经济飞速发展和一体化进程不断完善背景下,为了满足社会发展对人才的不同需求,高校英语教学也在不断地调整课程体系,完善教学方法,有针对性的进行教学改革和实践。近年来,大学英语的教学一直秉承实用化,专业化,个性化等发展方向和目标。因此,高校英语教学的未来发展之路必然是不同院校基于自身的特点、基础、专业发展方向,结合社会发展及学生自身需求培养高素质、应用型的人才。本文重在探讨目前我校在完成英语基础教学任务后,在后续的英语教学实践中逐步将教学的重点转向专门用途英语,将英语教学与某一个领域的专业知识或某一学科有效地结合在一起。通过有效的课程设置,专业化的教师团队以及有针对性的教学实践,培养出“外语+专业知识”的应用型人才,以满足社会对人才的多元化需求。
Against the background of rapid global economic development and continuous improvement of the process of integration, in order to meet the different needs of talents for social development, college English teaching is also constantly adjusting the curriculum system, improving teaching methods, and carrying out targeted teaching reforms and practices. In recent years, the teaching of college English has been adhering to the practical, professional, personal and other development directions and goals. Therefore, the future development of English teaching in colleges and universities must inevitably be based on their own characteristics of different colleges and universities, based on the direction of professional development, combined with social development and the needs of students to develop high-quality, practical talents. This article focuses on the current my school after completing the basic English teaching tasks, in the follow-up of English teaching practice gradually shift the focus of teaching English for specialized purposes, the English teaching and a field of expertise or a subject effectively combined together. Through effective curriculum, professional teachers and targeted teaching practice, we cultivate applied talents with “foreign language + professional knowledge” to meet the diversified needs of the society.
