改革初中招生制度,对于减轻学生过重的课业负担,全面贯彻教育方针,促进学生生动活泼主动的发展,具有重要意义。南京市玄武区自1984年起,改革初中招生制度,实行中小学挂钩,小学毕业生免试直升初中,目前在26所小学和9所中学中,已有14所小学的毕业生免试直升附近的7所中学。改革招生制度后,区教育局把工作重点放在引导学校全面贯彻党和国家的教育方针,积极进行教学改革和考试改革,探索中小学教育教学的衔接,发展社区教育上。经过8年的改革探索。挂钩直升的学校从根本上减轻了小学生过重的课业负担。使学生得到全面发展,学校教育教学质量稳步提高,学校教育呈现生动活泼的局面。
The reform of junior high school enrollment system is of great significance to relieve students ’heavy academic burden, to fully implement the education policy and to promote students’ lively and active development. Since 1984, Xuanwu District in Nanjing has been reforming its junior high school enrollment system by linking primary and secondary schools and exempting primary-school graduates from junior high schools. At present, out of 26 primary schools and 9 secondary schools, 14 primary school graduates have already been ex- 7 secondary schools.
