今年是联合国成立60周年。9月14日至16日,世界各国首脑会聚纽 约东河之滨的联合国总部,回顾联合国的发展历程,共商联合国的改革大 计。 作为最具普遍性、代表性和权威性的政府间国际组织,联合国是实践 多边主义的最佳场所,是集体应对各种威胁和挑战的有效平台。60年来, 国际社会发生了巨大变化,要和平、谋发展、促合作已成为时代的潮流和 各国人民的共同愿望。为了适应国际形势的变化,联合国需要改革。
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations. From September 14th to 16th, heads of state of the world gathered in New York, the United Nations Headquarters on the East River, to review the development history of the United Nations and discuss the UN reform plan. As the most universal, representative and authoritative intergovernmental international organization, the United Nations is the best place to practice multilateralism and an effective platform for collectively responding to various threats and challenges. In the past 60 years, great changes have taken place in the international community. Peace, development, and cooperation have become the trend of the times and the common aspirations of all peoples. In order to adapt to changes in the international situation, the United Nations needs reform.
