在五月份中,印尼雅加达华侨的好几个社团,均接二连三演出话剧、歌剧、舞蹈、歌唱等节目,使得华侨大众得有欣赏娱乐的机会,对于教育华侨热爱进步,也起了一定的作用。华侨教师公会为纪念其成立十周年,在五月一日至四日,一连四晚招待教员家属及各界人士,除演出舞蹈、歌唱等节目外,有独幕话剧“小苍蝇怎样变成大象”。
In May, several groups of overseas Chinese in Jakarta, Indonesia, performed theatrical performances, operas, dances and singing programs one after another, which made the overseas Chinese have the opportunity to enjoy entertainment and played an important role in the education of overseas Chinese. In celebration of its tenth anniversary, the Overseas Chinese Teachers’ Association (HOS) has entertained the families of teachers and people from all walks of life for four consecutive nights from May 1 to April 4. Apart from performing programs such as dancing and singing, there is a solo drama entitled “How Little Flies Become Elephants ”.
