2006年8月,江苏扬中市江洲渔人俱乐部一行8人在丹徒开发区境内的水库开始了博大鱼的行动。丹徒开发区境内有大小水库33座,距扬中市仅五十几公里。2006年8月11日,俱乐部的老久与小王在丹徒开发区张寺水库垂钓至下午时,由于天气闷热,上鱼情况不好,因而去了距此水库约2公里的海燕水库察看。从水库承包人付老板处得知,水库里鱼的种类不多,除家养鲢鳙和鳊鱼外,库中有大青鱼,但数量有限。经与库主商量,他同意给我们垂钓,每人每天收费十元,允许使用2支竿。
