由于臭氧(O_3)在环境中广泛存在,使其可能危害人体健康的问题更加突出。飞机超过约7,500 m高度,机舱内会出现相当量的O_3。用来净化空气和污水的高压电气设备附近也有O_3出现。光化学烟雾的氧化物中有90%以上是O_3。虽然城市烟雾中发现的氧化物浓度对人体肺组织的作用所知甚少,但已有相当的病理实验证据支持O_3对动物肺组织有毒性。本文概述O_3对肺组织生化作用的最近研究。
Due to the widespread presence of ozone (O_3) in the environment, the problem of its possible endangering human health is even more prominent. Aircraft exceeding about 7,500 m altitude will have a considerable amount of O_3 in the cabin. O_3 appears near high-voltage electrical equipment used to purify air and sewage. More than 90% of photochemical smog oxide is O_3. Although little is known about the effect of oxide concentrations found in urban smog on human lung tissue, there is considerable evidence from pathological experiments that O 3 is toxic to animal lung tissue. This article provides an overview of recent studies on the biochemical effects of O_3 on lung tissue.
