自由主义经济思想和经济全球化为WTO所崇尚和规范的自由贸易体制提供了理论基础和发展动力,而自由贸易又促进了全球经济的繁荣。但在WTO的游戏规则下,发展中国家却没有充分享受到自由贸易带来的利益。面对WTO的种种无奈,发展中国家应该由特殊和差别待遇的被动接受者努力成为规则的制定者。而对于在国际贸易中受到诸多挑战的中国,了解WTO与发展中国家的关系,明确自身位置,或许不无裨益。
Liberal economic thought and economic globalization have provided theoretical basis and impetus for the free trade system advocated and regulated by the WTO, and free trade has promoted the global economic prosperity. However, under the WTO rules of the game, developing countries have not fully enjoyed the benefits brought by free trade. Facing the helplessness of the WTO, developing countries should strive to become rule makers by passive recipients of special and differential treatment. As for China, which has suffered many challenges in international trade, it may not be without any help to understand the relationship between WTO and developing countries and clarify its own position.
