Ali region, located in the western Tibet Autonomous Region, is located in the northern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau - the core of the Qiangtang Plateau. Ali, with its prohibitively high altitude and bad weather, is known as the “ridge in the roof of the world.” At the same time, the mountains here and there are numerous vertical and horizontal lakes, with magnificent and charming natural and cultural scenery, attracting people who love it for a long distance, and some even said that they would not be able to travel to Tibet without having been to Ali. In September 2012, I finally got lucky to dream of Ali. Starting from Lhasa, with a fourteen-day period, a big circle has been drawn on the roof of the world. Looking back on this road, bit by bit and even including the experience of the way due to altitude sickness have become a precious memory. The following pictures were taken on the way back from Lhasa to Ali. The morning of the plateau is tranquil and beautiful. Morning, the clouds are gradually dispersed. The rising sun shines on the earth, the sun awakens the sheep, and the industrious hostess prepares to go out and start the day’s work.
