企业大学是由企业出资,以企业高级管理人员、一流的商学院教授及专业培训师为师资,通过实战模拟、案例研讨、互动教学等实效性教育手段,满足员工终身学习需要的一种新型教育、培训体系。是最有效的学习型组织实现手段,更是公司规模与实力的有力证明。自1955年,全球第一所企业大学--通用电气公司克顿维尔学院正式成立,到2003年企业大学已超过2000家,其中财富500强的大部分企业都建立了自己的企业大学,如GE克劳顿学院、西门子管理学院、摩托罗拉大学、惠普商学院、麦当劳大学等等。
