我最早知道罗家伦先生的名字,是30年代初期我念初中,一位历史老师课堂上讲述五四运动史实时提到的。他说,五月四号那天,学生游行已经整好队伍就要出发了,才发现没有一份正式的宣言来说明游行的目的和学生们的主张,于是由一个北京大学名叫罗家伦的学生在五分钟之内写好一份宣言,浩浩荡荡的游行队伍就拿着这个宣言,冲向街头。 后来,我们读到了由当时22岁的罗家伦立在一张长桌旁一挥而就的这份宣言。全文是:
I first knew Mr. Luo Jialun’s name, which was mentioned in the early 1930s when I was a junior high school middle school teacher and a history teacher about the history of May 4th Movement. He said that on May 4, when the procession of the student parade was completed and the team was about to depart, he found out that there was not a formal declaration to explain the purpose of the parade and the students’ opinions. Therefore, a student named Peggy Luo from Peking University Write a declaration in five minutes, a mighty parade holding this declaration and rushing to the streets. Later, we read the declaration by the then 22-year-old Luo Jialun who waved at a long table. The full text is:
