Pinus wallichina A.B. Jackson has a positive correlation between the percentage and the specific gravity of the material to be pressed. In an annual ring, the presence of stamped timber will significantly increase the proportion of timber. However, the impact of compacts on the weight is only partial. The earliest part of early growth in an annual ring is the most suitable sampling point to compare the specific gravity between different tree or annual rings of the same tree.
