从2014年2月初起至7月底,海龙屯先后完成了对铜柱关、铁柱关、西关、万安关和部分城墙及海潮寺的文物本体修缮和加固工程。同时设立环境整治小组,完成遗产区、缓冲区内的移民搬迁安置、土地征收工作;电力电讯,道路绿化和环境绿化、拆除谢家坝废弃水库、白沙河清理、管理用房工作站改造、垃圾清理、民居修缮改造等工作,基本实现了对海龙屯文化遗产环境范围的有效保护。
