《玉梨魂》是鸳鸯蝴蝶派代表作家徐枕亚的成名作,在中国近代文学史上曾经产生了巨大的影响。小说突破了才子佳人的传统模式,开创了寡妇与才子的爱情悲剧。女主人公白梨影以其无法摆脱的对于千百年来所形成的妇女贞洁观的错误认识,成就了这部不朽作品的悲剧结局。她以死亡作为结束爱情的方式,让我们对于古代女性,尤其是寡妇这一特殊的群体产生了深深的怜悯。寡妇再醮在古代是不被提倡的,这是特殊时代背景下的特殊产物。
“Jade Pear Spirit” is a famous masterpiece of the Mandarin Duck Butterfly School written by Xu Yaoya, which had had a tremendous influence in the history of Chinese modern literature. The novel broke through the traditional model of genius and beauty, creating a love tragedy of widows and geniuses. The mistaken understanding of the innocence of womanhood formed by thousands of years for the heroine Pear Shadow can not escape the tragedy of this immortalized work.
