京剧《曙色紫禁城》自去年上演以来,好评如潮,被认为是近年来“一出叫得响的好剧”[1],是京剧改革进程中的“一次有意义的探索”[2]。笔者有幸在武汉琴台大剧院享受到这一难得的视觉盛宴和听觉盛宴。说其是视觉盛宴,并不是说舞台有多光鲜亮丽,而是在于其恰到好处的布景、与剧情相融相契的灯光以及符合人物性格和故事进程的服饰装束。当然,更重要的是,演员的一招一式、一做一打,都是一次审美的表达;说其为听觉盛宴则无需赘言,京剧本是以唱为本,剧中慈禧、荣禄、德龄等人的唱腔,或高亢、或低徊、或含蓄,沁人心脾,又余音不绝。总体而言,《曙色紫禁城》之所以取得如
The Peking opera “The Forbidden City of the Twilight” has enjoyed great popularity since it was staged last year, and is considered as “a repertoire of good plays” [1] in recent years. It is a “meaningful exploration” in the process of Peking opera reform. [2]. I was fortunate enough to enjoy this rare visual feast and auditory feast in Wuhan Qintai Grand Theater. To say that it is a visual feast does not mean that the stage is bright and beautiful, but rather that it is just the right setting, the lighting that matches the story, and the costumes that conform to the characters and the story. Of course, more importantly, the actress’s one stroke and one do one dozen are aesthetic expressions; it is unnecessary to say that it is an auditory feast.
