当前,各个行业都对自己在上世纪取得的成就,全面地进行大盘点,田径界也不例外。自新中国成立以来,田径一直是我国体育事业中的重中之重,所取得的成就比较突出,特别是能够标志我国田径竟技水平在世界田坛的位置,要数我国田径精英多人、多次、创多项世界纪录(含最好成绩)的辉煌成就,应大加宣传。
