从烤烟叶际分离出园褐固氮菌(Azotobacter Chroococcum Beijerinck)、维涅兰德固氮菌(Azotobacter vinelandii Lipmann )、运动拜叶林克氏菌(Beijerin-ckia mobilis Derx)。测定了它们在叶面上的数量,其最高菌数为每平方厘米叶面7.0×10~4个,它们的固氮强度分别是每消耗1克葡萄糖固氮12.1毫克、9.8毫克和3.8毫克,固氮菌群体密度随着叶面渗出的糖量增加而上升。叶面露水糖浓度为16—123ppm,碳氮此是4.5~29:1。土壤固氮菌是叶际固氮菌的侵染源,其附生种类取决于叶际生境的理化条件。此外用多刺孢毛霉(Mucor spinescens Lendner)作指示菌测定了固氮菌的刺激作用,其中园褐固氮菌的刺激圈为3.95厘米;也测定了固氮菌对伴生菌环状芽孢杆菌(Bacillus circulans Jordar)的刺激作用,固氮菌的存在增强了环状芽孢杆菌对两株交链孢霉的拮抗作用。在幼苗水培时用固氮菌培养液接种叶面,刺激了叶片的生长。探讨了叶面施用固氮菌剂的可能性。
Azotobacter Chroococcum Beijerinck, Azotobacter vinelandii Lipmann and Beijerin-ckia mobilis Derx were isolated from flue-cured tobacco leaves.
