利用黄河自然河道修建的三门峡水库,使河水位抬高数米至十几米,对两岸有利储水构造产生侧渗补给,侧渗距离两公里,地下水位上升0.5—8米。造成自然调蓄、净化黄河浑水的有利场所。七里、北村、宏农洞河口等侧渗有利段,日侧向补给量4.7—17.6万立方米。宜建主要夺取库河诱导补给的大中型调节水源地。浑水时段傍河集中强化开采,腾出地下库容;清水时段库水自然侧渗回补。
