This article explores the five types of process combinations currently used in the Polish coal preparation plant design and two major types of standard plants. In addition, the general principles applied to the processing volume and selection of raw coal preparation, sorting, washing cycle and coal drying are also discussed in detail. The article also highlights some of the equipment nomogram and calculation formula.
