虽久仰先生大名,但却一直没有机会谋面。直至2006年6月延边大学聘请先生为名誉教授,才第一次有幸结识先生。先生为人谦和,彬彬有礼,刚一落座就略带歉意地微笑着对我说:“我得点支烟。”随后一支接着一支。宽阔的前额、坚定刚毅且充满睿智的眼神,先生给人的印象是一位仙风道骨、超凡脱俗的智者。先生对我们说,延边大学拥有一支雄厚的学术队伍,应充分借助这些力量积极倡导中国的朝鲜—韩国学,并引领其深人发展。即将步入米寿,已87岁高龄的先生,思维敏捷,语言风趣幽默。
