“民俗艺术”系传承性的民间艺术,或指民间艺术中融入传统风俗的部分。它往往作为文化传统的艺术符号,在岁时节令、人生礼俗、民间信仰、日常生活等方面广泛应用。“传承”、“传统”和“群体性”作为民俗艺术的特征,是其具有深厚的文化背景和坚实的社会基础。[1]这是民俗艺术学科的开拓者与奠基人之一、国内最早且唯一一个民俗艺术博士生招生方向的导师、著名民俗艺术学家陶思炎先生给民俗艺术下的一个定义。这无疑给学界点了一盏明灯,使困惑、探索与争论多年的这一命题有了一个清晰的研究目标与研究范
“Folk Art ” is a heritage of folk art, or part of folk art into the traditional customs. It is often used as an artistic symbol of cultural traditions. It is widely used in the aspects of seasonal festivals, life etiquette, folk beliefs and daily life. “Inheritance ”, “Tradition ” and “group ” as the characteristics of folk art, it has a profound cultural background and a solid social foundation. [1] This is one of the trailblazers and founders of the folk arts discipline. The earliest and the only mentor for the enrollment direction of folk art doctoral students in China is a well-known folklore artist Tao Siyan, a definition under folk art. This undoubtedly gives the academia a bright spot, so that the proposition of perplexity, exploration and debate for many years has a clear research goal and research scope
