把警力推上街头,贴近群众,推行以服务、管理相结合的警务模式,实现警民共保社区平安,这是当前警务改革的趋向,治安警亭的设立,正是适应城镇治安形势要求的警务方式之一。本文结合台山市的实践,论述了治安警亭在城镇治安实践中存在的可行性,指出治安警亭具有熟悉社区、密切联床群众等的优势,认为新型的治安警亭必须具备打击犯罪和服务社群的双面功能,要从资源配置,运作机制等方面保障治安警亭的正常动作,最后强调值勤警员的为人民服务意识和快速反应意识,是群众认可治安警亭价值的关键。
