主流液晶显示器常用的背光源是冷阴极背光灯管,即CCFL,不过其发光效率低,材质中含对人体有害的物质,以及线状光源的本质也影响着液晶面板的亮度均匀性。LED背光的出现,被看作是CCFL背光的替代与升级,其发光效率,色域表现等方面均有很大的进步。不过早期的R.G.B LED背光由于成本较高,在普通民用级液晶显示器中暂时难以普及,取而代之的则是侧置的白光LED,即WLED面板机型。它的构成相对简单,仅在面板边框位置设置一排LED晶粒,通过导光板将光线均匀的分布在整个面上,就完成了背光的布局。但这种成本高度优化的LED背光布局,性能上与三色LED背光有着本质的区别。现在上市的这种白光LED机型已经有所增多,其中飞利浦、AOC更多的是将WLED引入消费级产品市场,而三星、LG等品牌更多的定位在一些中高端用户上。下面,大家就和我一起看看卖场里现有的LED面板机型和将要上市的LED面板机型吧。
