The staggered mixed immigration experience and the resulting mixed cultural identities make Ludhidi immigrant writer forever wandering the east and west and becoming the “other” who is not completely accepted by either side. However, this “other” who stands on the east and west sides opposes the general anxiety and perplexity of immigrant writers for having no roots.
