党的十七大政治报告指出:“和谐社会要靠全社会共同建设。”正确的舆论导向是促进社会和谐的重要因素。在建设社会主义和谐社会中,新闻媒体具有神圣的社会责任和独特的功能作用,它在宣传党的主张,弘扬社会正气,通达社情民意,引导社会热点,疏导公众情绪,搞好舆论监督等方面,都有着义不容辞的责任。为了深入学习贯彻党的十七大精神,推出我院相关学科在这方面的研究成果,我们在本期策划了“和谐社会与媒介责任”专栏,约请了军事新闻传播系的四位专家,分别以和谐社会构建中民族精神的媒介整合、大众传媒对社会主义核心价值观的塑造、社会转型期公众心理问题的媒介疏导,以及构建和谐社会要重视对社会矛盾的舆论引导与消解等不同视角,谈和谐社会建设中的媒介责任和作为,旨在推动学科领域深入研究贯彻十七大精神。
