公元前140年,告别了繁华的长安,张骞踏上了出使西域的慢慢征程。此行的目的旨在完成汉武帝联合月氏夹击匈奴的战略部署。随着张骞出使西域带动的汉朝与西域诸国的频繁交往,中原文明借助丝绸之路传播辐射的路径逐渐清晰。中国人的地理概念和时空观念由此发生了革命性改变。汉王朝的外交策略也随着更迭,汉王朝势力向西一直延伸到广袤的中亚腹地。
In 140 BC, bid farewell to the bustling Changan, Zhang Qian embarked on a journey slowly to the Western Regions. The purpose of this visit is to complete the strategic deployment of Han Wudi’s joint attack on Huns. With the frequent contacts between the Han and the DPRK led by Zhang Qian in the Western Regions and the Western Regions, the path of the Central Plains civilization spreading radiation through the Silk Road gradually became clear. The Chinese concept of geography and space-time concept has undergone a revolutionary change. Along with the change of the Han dynasty’s diplomatic strategy, the Han dynasty extended westwards to the vast hinterland of Central Asia.
