中继器距离非常长的光纤传输系统不仅陆地而且对于海底通信系统的多种应用都是很有吸引力的。1.27μm波长32Mb/s的光传输实验指在阐明几十公里的长距离无中继系统的可能性。这个实验是用梯度多模纤维,InGaAsP/InP激光二极管(LD)和锗雪崩光电二极管(Ge-APD)来实现53.3公里无中继通信的。
Repeaters are very attractive optical fiber transmission systems not only on land but also for many applications in subsea communication systems. The optical transmission experiment of 1.27μm wavelength 32Mb / s refers to the possibility of clarifying the long distance relayless system of tens of kilometers. The experiment was to achieve 53.3 km of uninterrupted communications using gradient multimode fibers, InGaAsP / InP laser diodes (LDs), and Ge-APDs.
