儿童在生长期,脂肪组织的生长有三个连续的阶段:出生后第一年脂肪组织迅速增加;大约六岁时,脂肪组织减少,儿童变得苗条;最后脂肪又开始增加。作者以前的研究已表明:肥胖的发展与第二次脂肪升高开始的年龄有关(称为脂肪反跳),脂肪反跳的平均年龄大约为六岁,反跳发生越早,青少年时期发生肥胖越多。本文作者通过追踪研究,观察脂肪反跳是否同成人肥胖有关,确定反跳的年龄是否同反跳前的肥胖有关,这对于预测成人肥胖具有一定意义。
There are three consecutive phases of adipose tissue growth during the child’s life: fat tissue increases rapidly in the first year of life; fat tissue decreases at about the age of 6; children become slimmer; and finally fat begins to increase again. Previous studies by the authors have shown that the development of obesity is associated with the age at which the second fat elevation begins (called fat rebound), the average age of fat rebound is about six years old, the earlier the rebound occurs, the more adolescent fat more. Through follow-up studies, the authors observed whether fat rebound is associated with obesity in adults and determining whether the age of rebound is related to obesity before rebound, which is of significance for the prediction of adult obesity.
