这个规范是在总结多年生产实践的基础上拟定出来的,从1984年到1986年,由自治区农业技术推广总站与八一农学院农学系联合主持,在霍城、沙湾、焉耆、阿克苏、奇台五个县市农业技术推广站的协作下,按此规范进行了三年的高产、高糖生产示范,证明规范基本上适用于广大甜菜产区。1985年上述五个站的示范田共13480亩,平均单产3.3吨,含糖量17.95%;其中阿克苏市1263亩单产达4吨,含糖量达18.5%,1986年在严重虫害和春旱的情况下,示范田仍获得了好效果,单产和产值都有较大幅度的提高。 农业栽培技术受着自然条件、社会经济条件等多种因素所制约,尤其新疆地域辽阔,各地条件差异甚大,很难用一个模式进行规范,因之各地在实施中,必须因地制宜,注意掌握以满足甜菜生物学特性的要求,达到优质高产,丰产丰收。
