In order to solemnly celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party, the Chinese Artists Association issued a circular on October 8, 1990 to the American Association branches of all provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, stating: “The Chinese Artists Association intends to hold a conference in Beijing, China in July 1991 The Museum of Art held ”Exhibition of Fine Art Works to Celebrate the Seventieth Anniversary of the Founding of the Chinese Communist Party."
