随着我国社会经济的快速增长,科学技术的迅猛发展,城市化进程的不断加快,大量的工业遗产面临着被拆迁的处境。承载着城市脉络、生活环境、历史风貌的旧城亦正在面临被改造的命运。此外,如何改变当前农村追求形式上的城市化现象,保护城乡村落、街巷的合理性和本土文化特色等随之而来的矛盾与问题也渐渐凸显。如何对待资源、生态与社会的可持续发展、人与自然的协调共生、传统文脉的延续与保护、对历史与个性化的尊重、资本与权利的价值取向、道德与人际之间的和谐等问题与矛盾,也已为当今社会发展进程带来无尽的焦虑。
