ENSCO, in principle, studied a ground-based radar system for detecting and tracking air invaders. The system is designed to effectively deal with aerial intruders such as airborne, hover gliders, balloons and helicopters that target vast areas of land protected from overland locations at low altitudes so as to avoid Routine radar system detects. The principle of a multi-base radar system requires the deployment of a transmitter at or outside the protected area, with several passive bottom-up detectors despised in the area. Research shows that only passive detectors are deployed in the main area, and a large space with arbitrary shape can be covered by the rational deployment of these detectors. In this case, it is possible to prevent the transmitter from concentrating on the protected area without complicating the threat estimation. The detector used to look up at the sky, so clutter and false alarm rate is bound to control the minimum. Studies of the various signals used in the system have shown that the use of a synthetic pulse technique that emits continuous waves at three frequencies meets the requirements of detection, location and tracking. The required power is much lower than the pulse radar system, and the spectral distribution is greatly simplified.
