二○○三年四月十一日吴祖光先生驾鹤仙去,中国文坛又少了一位才子。而在此之前,他的爱妻新凤霞已先他而去。曲指一算,从上世纪九十年代初,我曾访问过的文化名人,在这短短十余年里相继去世的有:夏衍、冰心、萧乾、艾芜、沙汀、戈宝权、赵朴初、张光年……到吴祖光已是第56位了。这是中国文坛上的巨大损失。同时这惊人的数字提示我们,开展一项抢救文化工程,已是刻不容缓了。吴祖光(1908-2003),剧作家。江苏武进人。主要剧作有《凤凰城》、《正气歌》、《闯江湖》、《风雪夜归人》等。1942
