[Objective] To investigate the effect of long-term low-concentration benzene on human health. [Method] A total of 201 benzene workers in a certain company were selected as the contact group, and 123 logistics workers without benzene exposure in the enterprise were selected as the control group to compare the blood routine (white blood cell count, platelet count) results of occupational health checkup in 2016 in both groups And analysis. [Results] The count of leukocytes in contact group was (5.75 ± 1.23) × 109 / L and the platelet count was (214.11 ± 55.04) × 109 / L in contact group, which were lower than that in control group (6.11 ± 1.33) × 109 / L 45.48) × 109 / L, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The detection rate of white blood cells and platelet count abnormality in the exposure group were higher than those in the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant (P> 0.05). [Conclusion] Long-term exposure to low concentration of benzene can cause the reduction of blood cells in the human body and may affect the blood system of the operators to a certain extent. Enterprises should strictly observe the occupational health check system before and during their posts to protect the rights and interests of laborers.
