Chloroquine is a widely used chemotherapeutic and anti-malaria drug. This article reports the determination of chlorin in different dosage forms by thin layer chromatography (TLC) and liquid chromatography (LC). The results of the TLC assay showed that all of these formulations produced more than one spot indicating a possible decomposition and therefore the LC method was used to determine chloroquine in different formulations (amphetamines, tablets and syrups) of these drug formulations.
