与新课改中的选修模块I相呼应,高考在必考科目之外增设了自选模块部分。它对新课程改革的实施,对考试方式的多样化改革,对学生个性的发展具有重要的意义。为了避免由于自选模块难度不平衡给考生带来的不公平,也为了使中学选修模块的教学能有序进行,就需要有效地平衡自选模块学科间的难度。自选模块学科间难度的平衡应遵循公平与以人为本的原则,在具体的实践操作上,自选模块试题所选内容应兼顾地域、文化、民族甚至性别等差异,提高命题人员的水平,进行一定的难度试测等等。
