孔雀丸(Euphorbia flanaganii)原产南非开普省,是大戟科大戟属多肉植物。细分一下,属于大戟属章鱼型种类。浓绿色球形茎3～4厘米,茎表密披细小三角疣突.环生浓绿色细棒状肉质柔枝,柔枝上轮状互生线形尖头小叶,叶落之后残留小圆锥状叶茎。每年4～6月开五瓣黄色小花,具淡薄芳香(图1)。孔雀丸有两种不同的缀化种:一种是由孔雀丸的球形肉质茎变异而成的,原先球形茎缀变成端正冠状体,而本来环生的细长柔枝呈两列对称丛生,叫孔雀冠(E.flanagnii f.cristata),俗称孔雀丸缀化。为姿韵端雅之上品(图2);另一种是由孔雀丸的细长柔枝缀变而成的,原先细棒状的肉质枝条缀变成扭曲薄片螺旋状,叫孔雀之舞(E.flanagnii f.rameus f.cristata),俗称孔雀枝缀化。该种的缀化状态不大稳定,容易萌生还原枝,须经常注意观察,一旦发现还原枝,要及时修剪,才能保持较佳观赏效果(图3)。至今还有不少爱好者把以上两种不同形态的缀化变异种笼统地称为“孔雀冠”或“孔雀丸缀化”。虽然以上两种缀化变异种都来
Peacock balls (Euphorbia flanaganii) native to Cape Town, South Africa, Euphorbia Euphorbia Succulents. Subdivision, belongs to the genus Euphorbia octopus type. Flanagnii f.rameus f.cristata), commonly known as Peacock grafting.
