韦乐平小档案:中国电信集团公司总工程师,教授级高级工程师。1970年毕业于清华大学无线电系,1981年获邮电科学研究院通信与电子系统硕士学位,1984年至1986年加拿大国家访问学者,1994年-1995年以色列国家高级访问学者。研究领域为光纤通信、SDH、宽带网、接入网和网络发展战略。现任国家“863”计划信息技术领域第一届专家委员会委员、信息产业部通信科技委副主任、中国通信学会常务理事兼信息通信网络委员会主任委员和光通信委员会副主任委员、中国电信集团公司总工程师兼北京研究院院长。
Wei Leping small file: China Telecom Corporation chief engineer, professor-level senior engineer. He graduated from the Department of Radio of Tsinghua University in 1970, received a master’s degree in communications and electronic systems from the Institute of Posts and Telecommunications in 1981, a state visiting scholar from Canada from 1984 to 1986, and a senior visiting scholar from 1994 to 1995. His research interests include optical fiber communication, SDH, broadband network, access network and network development strategy. The current “863” plan information technology field of the first expert committee, Ministry of Information Industry Communication Technology Committee, China Communications Society executive director and chairman of the information and communication network committee and optical communications committee vice chairman, China Telecom Corporation Chief engineer and president of Beijing Research Institute.
