构建社会主义和谐社会是一个长期的过程,是社会矛盾不断解决,人民生活不断提高,社会更加和谐的过程。和谐与矛盾两者之间是相互斗争而又相互促进并最终达到统一的关系。构建和谐社会的提出是我国社会矛盾发展的必然结果。和谐社会的构想为我们正确认识和处理当前的社会矛盾提供了思路,从根本上改变了我们党处理社会矛盾的传统思维。解决社会矛盾,实现人与人之间的和谐相处,是构建社会主义和谐社会的工作重心。探讨和谐社会同社会矛盾之间的关系将有助于加深对这一宏伟目标的正确认识。
Building a socialist harmonious society is a long-term process, a process of continuously resolving social conflicts, continuously improving people’s living standards and making the society more harmonious. Harmony and contradiction between the two fight against each other and promote each other and eventually reach a unified relationship. Building a harmonious society is the inevitable result of the development of social contradictions in our country. The concept of a harmonious society provides us with a clear idea of how we can correctly understand and handle the current social conflicts and fundamentally changes the traditional thinking of our party in dealing with social conflicts. To solve social conflicts and achieve the harmonious coexistence of people is the center of gravity in building a harmonious socialist society. Studying the relationship between a harmonious society and social conflicts will help deepen the correct understanding of this magnificent goal.
