朱元忠,个儿不高,他的厂子也不大,然而,他本人和他的企业却有很高的知名度。咋一见到他,就会明显地感觉到,这位小个子企业家身上蕴藏着惊人的精力,透露出一股勃勃的生气;再一深入交谈,您就会为他的精明而折服。他要求企业建立起“精干、灵敏、高效”的新机制,而他自己就率先身体力行。 朱元忠现任上海滚镀一厂厂长、高级经济师,上海长江电镀(集团)联合公司董事长兼总经理。曾赴香港大学管理系培训和日本经营管理考察,还多次参加中澳高级管理人员研讨会和企业管理国际研讨会。近几年来,已发表在报刊和电台广播的有关文章百余篇,约40万字。他先后荣获1987～1988年度上海市优秀厂长、1991～1992年度全国电镀行业优秀厂长、1991年度及1993年度轻工业部劳动模范等荣誉称号。
