第三届国际材料热处理大会于1983年11月7～11日在上海召开。由中国机械工程学会热处理学会和新鸿基国际服务有限公司共同举办的国际热处理技术设备展览会也同时展出。大会共收到论文160余篇,参加大会的中外代表300多人,其中外国代表100余人。参加展出的外国厂商有150多人。会议共宣读论文70余篇,展出小字报42篇。中国在会上宣读论文
The 3rd International Material Heat Treatment Conference was held in Shanghai on November 7-11, 1983. The International Heat Treatment Technology and Equipment Exhibition co-organized by the Heat Treatment Society of China Mechanical Engineering Society and Sun Hung Kai International Services Ltd. will also be on display. The conference received a total of 160 papers, more than 300 Chinese and foreign delegates to the conference, including more than 100 foreign delegates. More than 150 foreign manufacturers participated in the exhibition. A total of more than 70 papers were read and 42 small posters were displayed. China presented papers at the conference
