大武口选煤厂自1970年投产以来,每年冬季都存在着洗精煤脱水防冻的问题。该厂原煤按粒度分级入选,分别加工,大粒级的精煤经过脱水比较容易。小于0.5毫米的浮选精煤,用真空过滤机脱水,水份在26%左右,掺混到其他精煤中,使整个外运精煤水份高达12%,每年冬季装车场及邻近火车站都变成一片冰场,影响了火车站正常运输作业,给装车场工作人员和铁路调车员带来很多困难,为了维持正常生产,必需每班设6—8人刨冰,清道。据用户反映,当精煤车发至包钢和酒钢时,有时煤车冻成实心。严重时须采用炸药放炮震松卸车,对车皮损失很大。
