拉卜楞寺在甘南夏河县,从兰州出发,车子得跑一天。海拔2900米的夏河县属甘南藏族自治州,当地的藏族同胞对我们这些远方来客十分热情,一下车就献哈达、敬青稞酒,使我们路途劳顿的疲惫身心放松了许多。拉卜楞寺就在城区不远处,位于夏河城区南面谷地中,背靠褐色的石头山,面向日夜奔腾的大夏河,林林总总的几十座建筑物构成了一个庞大建筑群,把个偌大的山间河谷塞得满满的,像座小城池似的。建筑物的金边绿顶,在阳光下熠熠闪亮,把山谷映衬得金碧辉煌。一位年轻的喇嘛为我们导游,
