现已阐明,趋化因子C_5a FMLP 及PAF均具有活化多形核白细胞(PMNL)中花生四烯酸-5-脂氧化酶的作用,从而使中性粒细胞在外源性花生四烯酸存在的条件下释放出白三烯B_4(LTB_4)。最近许多研究人员都报道了一种新的中性粒细胞活化肽,由于这些肽类的N 末端相同,故被统一命名为白细胞介素-8(IL-8),纯化的IL-8在体外对中性粒细胞具有趋化活性,而且可促使其释放超氧阴离子,本文旨在证实IL-8是否也能激活中性粒细胞中的花生四烯酸-5-脂氧化酶进而促使其释放LTB_4。
