十三年前,我从相对闭塞的山城重庆来到拓荒时期的深圳。第一次经济大潮中,我舍了公司工作、生意,投入了严肃的文化探索,几乎与经济活动无缘。埋首书斋得到的好处是没有被经济大潮淹没,保持了自己的良知和天性,奠定了自己的学术基础。含素抱朴,使自己始终处于清明自觉的状态。在这样一个世纪交替的时候,作为中国的边缘城市经济特区,一个文化人,一个艺术工作者,应该有什么选择呢?这是我最近反思的主题。
Thirteen years ago, I came to Shenzhen in the pioneering period from the relatively blocked mountain city of Chongqing. In the first economic tide, I gave the company work and business and devoted myself to a serious cultural exploration. I almost missed out on economic activities. The benefits of being buried in the study are not flooded by the economic tide, maintaining their own conscience and nature, and laid their own academic foundation. Succeeding elements, so that they are always in a clear and conscious state. At the turn of this century, what should I choose as a special economic zone, a cultural person, an artist in the marginal cities of China? This is the subject of my recent rethinking.
