小果型西瓜新品种“羞月”和“淮蜜2号”是淮安市农科院在江苏省农业科技自主创新资金项目资助下育成的西瓜品种。“羞月”西瓜品种第1雌花着生于主蔓5～7节,春季保护地栽培从坐果到采收26～28天,全生育期85～90天。“淮蜜2号”西瓜品种春季保护地栽培从坐果到采收26～28天,全生育期85～90天;果肉红色,肉质脆,汁多爽口,抗逆性较强。
