The Fifth Meeting of Chinese and Veterinary Research Collaborations in Eastern China and East China Veterinary Research Conference in East China were jointly held in Suzhou from October 6 to October 10, 1982. The guiding ideology of the conference is to implement the spirit of the 12th CPC National Congress and create a new situation in the socialist modernization drive. We should inherit and carry forward the legacy of the motherland’s traditional veterinary medicine, adhere to the combination of veterinary medicine with the west, raise the level of traditional Chinese medicine and veterinary medicine to a new level of science and technology, Veterinary science with national characteristics, for the four modernizations
